Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)

Officially opened on 27 June 1998, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is one of Southeast Asia’s major aviation hubs. Located about 45 km south of Kuala Lumpur, it is well connected to the rest of Peninsular Malaysia by road and rail.

KLIA consists of Terminal 1, serving full-service and international carriers, and Terminal 2 (klia2), a purpose-built terminal designed mainly for low-cost airlines, offering modern facilities and efficient passenger handling.
