Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (klia2) was specifically built next to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 to cater to the growing passengers of the low cost airlines, especially the passengers of Malaysia's "no-frills" airline, AirAsia.

AirAsia

Established in 1993 and started operations on 18 Nov 1996, AirAsia is Asia's largest low fare, no frills airline and it operates scheduled domestic and international flights.
