If you lose an item during your AirAsia flight or at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) Terminal 2, AirAsia is here to assist. The Lost and Found service allows you to report and retrieve your belongings quickly and easily. Follow these steps to report and recover your lost items.

Items Lost Within Terminal (Public Areas)

If you lost your item in the public areas of KLIA Terminal 2 (klia2) (e.g., departure hall, shops, lounges), contact the airport’s Lost & Found department directly:

These contacts are for lost items found anywhere within the terminal public areas at KLIA Terminal 2 (klia2).

Items Lost Onboard or at the Gate

If you left an item on the aircraft, at the boarding gate, or in restricted areas:

Provide the following details when you call or email:

• Flight number and date

• Seat number (if known)

• Detailed description of the lost item

Airport staff may direct you to the appropriate airline handling department if your item was lost outside public passenger areas.

Airport Security & Checkpoint Losses

If your item was left at a security checkpoint / screening area, note that airport security personnel handle these separately, you may be advised to report directly to the airport security office.

Retrieval & Collection

If your lost item is found:

• You can collect it in person at Terminal 2 (klia2) from the Lost & Found Office.

• You may authorize someone in writing to pick up the item on your behalf.

Items found within the airport are usually held for a set period before disposal if unclaimed (often around 30 days), although individual handling times can vary.

In‑Person Assistance

Visit the Lost & Found Office in Terminal 2 (klia2) at Level 3, Departure Hall, for help reporting and tracking your lost items.
