Checked Baggage Allowance
Free Baggage Allowance (FBA) is the amount of check-in baggage Philippine
Airlines (PAL) will allow per passenger to bring as indicated in the passenger
ticket.
The total weight of the check-in baggage should follow the Free Baggage
Allowance of the service class per route. A single piece of checked baggage
should weigh no more than 32kg (70lbs). Any baggage exceeding the 32kg weight
limit must be repacked or will not be accepted for carriage.
Check-in baggage that exceeds the allowed dimension and maximum weight shall be
treated as oversized or overweight and an Excess Baggage Charge (EBC) shall be
collected.
Extra Baggage
Excess baggage fees apply if your checked baggage exceeds the purchased
allowance in weight, number of pieces, or dimensions.
Passengers are strongly advised to pre-purchase additional baggage allowance
online, as this is more economical than paying at the airport, where higher
rates apply.
