The transportation options to travel between these 2 terminals are:
• Free Shuttle Bus (operates around the clock, 10 minutes bus ride, FREE)
• Airport Liner Bus (10 minutes bus ride, RM2.50)
• Inter-Terminal Rail Transfer (3 minutes train ride, RM2.00)
Free Shuttle Bus
Passengers with connecting flights between KLIA Terminal 1 and
Terminal 2 can now enjoy the
new round-the-clock shuttle transfer service free of charge. The shuttle bus
also makes a stop at the Long-Term Car Park (LTCP). The 24/7 shuttle buses run
every 10 minutes. The journey takes around 10 minutes depending on traffic
conditions, and it is FREE.
To enjoy the service, passengers can proceed to the waiting area to board the
free shuttle bus. The waiting area at KLIA is located at Door 4, Level 1, while
the waiting area at Terminal 2 (klia2)
is located at Bay A10, Level 1, Transportation Hub, gateway@klia2 mall.
Airport Liner Bus
The Airport Liner performs regular
shuttle services between the KLIA Terminal 1 and
Terminal 2. The
Airport Liner buses are available at
platform 10, 11, and 12 at the KLIA Bus Station. At the
Terminal 2,
Airport Liner buses are available at its
Transportation Hub, gateway@klia2 mall. The journey take around 10 minutes and
the fares is RM2.50 per trip.
First Airport Liner bus starts as early
as 5:30 am and the last bus from KLIA is at 12:30 am to Nilai.
Inter-Terminal Rail Transfer
To travel quickly and smoothly between the KLIA Terminal 1 and
Terminal 2, passengers can take
the Express Rail Link (ERL) train (KLIA Transit
or KLIA Ekspres) at the ERL station of respective
terminal. The ERL train is a fast and convenient travel option for
inter-terminal transfer.
Inter-Terminal Transfer between KLIA Terminal 1 and
Terminal 2:
• Only 3 minutes between KLIA Terminal 1 and
Terminal 2 on KLIA Ekspres or KLIA Transit train.
• 7 services during peak hours (4 x KLIA Ekspres + 3 x KLIA Transit)
