Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport

Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) is the main international gateway to Turkey’s third-largest city, located approximately 18 km southwest of central Izmir in the Gaziemir district. Serving both domestic and international flights, the airport connects Izmir to major cities across Europe, the Middle East, and Türkiye, and is named after Adnan Menderes.

The airport operates a single terminal building handling both arrivals and departures. Transportation

Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport is connected to the city center via taxis and ride-hailing apps. The İZBAN commuter rail line links the airport to central Izmir and surrounding areas, providing a fast and efficient transit option. Airport shuttle buses and private transfers are also widely available.
