Jalan Hang Kasturi Jalan Hang Kasturi Formerly known as Rodger Road, currently named after Hang Kasturi, a legendary Malay warrior / hero who lived during the reign of Sultan Mansur Shah of the Sultanate of Malacca in the 15th century. Jalan Hang Kasturi formerly named after Sir John Pickersgill Rodger (1851-1910), a Chief Magistrate of Selangor and later British Resident in Selangor.

Just a short walk from Central market, Jalan Hang Kasturi used to be spot for provisions such as a dried fish and preserve vegetable. Many of the dried good still can be found today. The pre-war shop house mostly of Neo-classical style.


This is become hot spot for foreign worker from Nepal, Vietnamese and Indonesian during weekend or public holiday.
