Passengers travelling with Shenzhen Airlines are permitted to carry the following:

Carry-on Baggage

First Class customers flying with Shenzhen Airlines are permitted two pieces of carry-on baggage with a maximum weight of 5 kg. Business Class and Economy Class customers are permitted one piece of carry-on baggage with a maximum weight of 5 kg.

The volume of baggage brought into the passenger cabin should not exceed 20×40×55 cm, and the baggage exceeding the volume limit should be transported as checked baggage.

Baggage exceeding the above mentioned restrictions on weight, number of pieces should be transported as checked baggage.

Checked Baggage Allowance

First Class customers are permitted 40 kg of checked baggage. Business Class customers are permitted 30kg of checked baggage and Economy Class passengers are permitted 20 kg.

Star Alliance Gold Members are also entitled to an extra 20 kg of baggage.

The maximum baggage size permitted by Shenzhen Airlines shall be 40*60*100 cm, the weight of each baggage should not exceed 45 kg.

For international, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan flights, the maximum permitted size (the sum of three sides, i.e. length, width, height) of checked baggage should not exceed 203 cm (80 inches, including wheels and handle), the weight of each baggage should not exceed 32 kg (70 pounds), otherwise it must be divided into two pieces of checked baggage; the oversize baggage is more likely to be damaged during transporting, hence, it is suggested you not to carry.

The specific requirements shall be subject to the on-site handling provisions.

Extra Baggage

If you have more baggage weight and/or pieces than your allowance, additional charges will be applied. You can purchase your extra bag allowance in advance enjoy a great discount. Charges depend on your destination.
