safety reasons.
Checked Baggage Allowance
Saudia applies either a piece concept or weight concept, depending on route
and fare type:
Economy Class
• Up to 2 pieces, each weighing 23 kg (on most international routes)
• On selected routes, a total allowance of 30 kg may apply instead
Business Class
• Up to 2 pieces, each weighing 32 kg
First Class
• Up to 2 pieces, each weighing 32 kg
Each checked bag must not exceed 158 cm (length + width + height).
Baggage allowance may vary based on fare family, destination, and frequent flyer
status.
Extra Baggage
Passengers requiring baggage beyond the free allowance may purchase excess
baggage, subject to availability:
• Charges apply for additional pieces, excess weight, or oversized baggage
• Excess baggage fees vary by route and are typically lower when purchased in
advance
• Payment can be made online, at Saudia ticket offices, or at the airport
(higher fees may apply at the airport)
To avoid extra charges for excess baggage, please make sure to fit your allowed
weight into your allowed number of pieces. Any extra weight or number of pieces
will be subject to additional fees, provided there is space in the hold for your
excess baggage.
