Passengers travelling with Royal Jordanian are permitted to carry the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Royal Jordanian allows passengers to bring carry-on baggage on board, subject to cabin safety regulations.

Economy Class

• 1 carry-on bag

• Maximum weight: up to 7 kg

• Maximum dimensions: typically 55 × 40 × 23 cm

Business Class

• 2 carry-on bags

• Combined maximum weight: up to 14 kg

In addition to cabin baggage, passengers may carry one small personal item such as a handbag, laptop bag, or camera case. All carry-on items must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage allowance depends on travel class, route, and fare type.

Economy Class

• 1 or 2 pieces depends on route

• Maximum weight per piece: 23 kg

Business Class

• 2 pieces

• Maximum weight per piece: 32 kg

Each checked bag must meet Royal Jordanian’s size and weight limits. Oversized or overweight baggage may incur additional charges.

Extra Baggage

Passengers exceeding their free baggage allowance may purchase extra baggage, subject to availability.

• Charges apply for additional pieces, excess weight, or oversized items

• Fees vary by route, fare type, and cabin class

• Extra baggage may be purchased in advance or at the airport, with advance purchase often offering better rates

• Acceptance of extra baggage is subject to aircraft hold capacity

Passengers are advised to ensure their baggage complies with the permitted allowance to avoid excess baggage charges.
