Passengers travelling with Oman Air are permitted to carry the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Carry-on baggage allowance depends on cabin class:

Economy Class: One (1) cabin bag weighing up to 7 kg

Business Class: Up to two (2) cabin bags, each weighing up to 7 kg

Carry-on baggage must meet Oman Air’s size and safety requirements and fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat.

Passengers may also bring one small personal item such as a handbag, laptop bag, or briefcase.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage entitlement varies by fare type and cabin class and follows a weight-based concept:

Economy Class

• Economy Saver / Light: Up to 30 kg

• Economy Flex / Smart: Up to 35 kg

Business Class

• Up to 50 kg of checked baggage

Passengers are advised to confirm their exact baggage allowance during booking or via Manage Booking, as entitlements may differ by fare rules and route.

Extra Baggage

Passengers may purchase additional baggage allowance in advance through Oman Air’s website, mobile app, call centre, or ticket offices.

Pre-purchased excess baggage is offered at lower rates compared to airport charges and is subject to availability.

Excess baggage purchased at the airport is charged per kilogram and may be refused if aircraft weight or space limitations apply.
