Myanmar Airways provides flexible cancellation and refund options, ensuring convenience for its passengers. Below are the key points of their policy:

Cancellation Policy

By default, MAI tickets are non‑refundable unless your specific fare type allows a refund.

Many “Hot Deal” or promo fares are non‑refundable and non‑transferable.

Fare‑Dependent

Some fare types such as Business Flex, Business, Economy Flex, and Economy may permit cancellation with fees before departure, depending on the fare rules attached to your ticket.

Hot Deal fares do not allow cancellation or refund.

Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on the fare type, route, and ticket conditions:

• Refundable tickets: Eligible for a full or partial refund, subject to applicable fees;

• Non-refundable tickets: Not eligible for a refund; however, taxes and unused airport fees may be refundable; and

• Partially used tickets: Refunds, if permitted, are calculated based on the unused portion of the journey.

Refunds are processed back to the original form of payment and may take up to 8 weeks to complete.
