As of early 2026, Lufthansa does not operate direct flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Online Web / Mobile Check-in

Online check-in for Lufthansa available from 48 hours and close 1 hour before departure for economy, 30 minutes before departure for first & business class.

Use the Lufthansa website or mobile app to check in and download or print your boarding pass.

Self Service Check-in Kiosk

Self-service check-in kiosks are available in the Departure Hall at KLIA, allowing you to check in and print your boarding pass and baggage tags.

Kiosk check-in is open from 4 hours up to approximately 90 minutes before departure.

Please note that not all airlines and passengers are eligible. Travelers requiring special assistance, unaccompanied minors, or those with extra-seat bookings cannot use kiosk check-in.

Airport Counter Check-in

Location: Terminal 1, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL).

Check-in counters open 3 hours before departure and close 60 minutes prior to departure.

Arrival advice: Passengers are advised to arrive at least 180 minutes before departure to allow sufficient time for check-in and other formalities.
