The following check-in options are available for passengers flying with China Southern Airlines.

Online Web / Online Check-in

China Southern Airlines offers online check-in for most of its flights. Online check-in opens at 14:00 (2:00 pm) 1 day before the scheduled departure and closes 1 hour before the scheduled departure time.

For passengers with checked baggage, please go to airport counter to have their baggage checked within the cut-off time of check-in.

Self Service Check-in Machine (Kiosk)

China Southern Airlines has self-service check-in kiosks at many airports in China. The airline’s official FAQ currently states that self-service kiosks are not available for international flights.

Airport Counter Check-in

Location: Terminal 1, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL).

Check-in counters open 3 hours before departure and close 60 minutes prior to departure.

Boarding gate closes at least 15 minutes before departure. Please arrive at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes before departure to be checked your passport and visa status.

Arrival advice: Passengers are advised to arrive at least 180 minutes before departure to allow sufficient time for check-in and other formalities.
