The following check-in options are available for passengers flying with China Airlines.

Online Web / Mobile Check-in

Online check-in for China Airlines are available. You can check in via the Internet 1.5 - 48 hours before departure. After checking in, you are provided with options to select your seat. At airports where this service is applicable, you can choose to print the boarding pass yourself or use the mobile boarding pass service. This provides a simple procedure and extra functionalities that allow you to save time at airports.

Self Service Check-in Kiosk

Self-service check-in kiosks are available in the Departure Hall at KLIA, allowing you to check in and print your boarding pass and baggage tags.

Kiosk check-in is open from 4 hours up to approximately 1 hour 30 minutes before departure.

Please note that not all passengers are eligible. Travelers requiring special assistance, unaccompanied minors, or those with extra-seat bookings cannot use kiosk check-in.

Airport Counter Check-in

Location: Terminal 1, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL).

Check-in counters open 3 hours before departure and close 60 minutes prior to departure. Boarding gate will close 30 minutes prior to scheduled time of departure.

Arrival advice: Passengers are advised to arrive at least 180 minutes before departure to allow sufficient time for check-in and other formalities.
