Passengers travelling with All Nippon Airways are permitted to carry the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Assistive devices and outer garments do not count as personal items. All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you and adhere to the following requirements:

• Maximum Dimensions of Carry-on Luggage (including all handles, wheels, etc.): 22 in x 16 in x 9 in/55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm (length + width + height)

• Maximum Weight of Carry-on Luggage: 22lb/10kg

Checked Baggage Allowance

Transpacific flights (including U.S.A.)

First Class

Baggage Allowance: 3 pieces

• Maximum Dimensions of each piece: 62 linear inches/158 cm (length + width + height)
• Maximum Weight of each piece: 70 lb/32 kg

Business Class

Baggage Allowance: 2 pieces

• Maximum Dimensions of each piece: 62 linear inches/158 cm (length + width + height)
• Maximum Weight of each piece: 70 lb/32 kg

Economy Class

Baggage Allowance: 1 pieces

• Maximum Dimensions of each piece: 62 linear inches/158 cm (length + width + height)
• Maximum Weight of each piece: 50 lb/23 kg

• Infants not occupying a seat:

Baggage Allowance: 1 piece + one fully collapsible stroller or infant carrying basket/car seat.

Extra Baggage

Charges for extra piece of baggage vary based on region of flight. Charges for Japan domestic flights started from 5,000 Yen for 3rd or more checked baggage. Overweight baggage (up to 32 kg) will be charged 1,000 Yen per piece and 5,000 Yen for over 32 kg and up to 45 kg.
