Passengers traveling with Air India can Check-in conveniently with the check-in options provided as below:

Online Web Check-in

Available from 48 hours up to 2 hours before departure for international flights and up to 1 hour before departure for domestic flights.

Passengers can check in by entering their booking reference and last name.

Domestic passengers can print their boarding pass, while international passengers need to print a confirmation slip to exchange for a boarding pass at the airport.

Mobile App Check-in

Available during the same time window as web check-in.

Passengers can check in via the Air India mobile app and select their seats.

Boarding passes for international flights must be collected at the airport counter.

Airport Kiosk Check-in

Available at select airports for domestic flights. Passengers can use self-service kiosks to check in and print their boarding passes.

Checked baggage must be dropped off at the designated counter before the check-in deadline.

Airport Counter Check-in

Domestic flights:

Check-in counters close 60 minutes before departure.

Boarding gates close 20 minutes before departure.

International flights:

Check-in counters close 60 minutes before departure (75 minutes at Delhi Airport).

Boarding gates close 20 minutes before departure.

Additional Information:

Baggage Drop: Available for passengers who have checked in online or at kiosks.

Required Documents: Valid photo ID for domestic flights and a passport with necessary visas for international travel.

Special Assistance: Passengers requiring assistance or traveling with infants must check in at the airport counter.

The Air India Check-In counters in KLIA Terminal 1 is arranged by the airport authority based on daily conditions.

The amount of time needed to complete all check-in requirements varies depending on your itinerary. The counters at the airport will be closing 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure.

Boarding gate will close 30 minutes prior to scheduled time of departure.
