Passengers travelling with Air China are permitted to carry the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Passengers flying in Economy Class and Business Class are permitted one piece of carry-on baggage weighing no more than 10kg, while First Class passengers are permitted two pieces of carry-on baggage with a maximum weight of 10 kg per piece. This applies to both domestic and international flights.

On domestic flights, passengers have a size limit of 55 cm (21.6") x 40 cm (15.8") x 20 cm (7.9").

On international flights, passengers have a size limit of 56 cm (22") x 45 cm (17.7") x 25 cm (9.8").

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage allowance will depend on the cabin class and the route flown. No one piece of baggage can exceed the overall dimensions of 158 cm (62") on all flights.

For Kuala Lumpur routes, 2 pieces of baggage with 23 kg per piece (50 pounds) for Economy Class and 32 kg per piece (70 pounds) for Business and First Class.

To avoid extra charges for excess baggage, please make sure to fit your allowed weight into your allowed number of pieces. Any extra weight or number of pieces will be subject to additional fees, provided there is space in the hold for your excess baggage.
